"Even after a month the tears start to come as I write this. Sage was very loved and returned his affection everyday. Our home just seems so empty without him. It's hard to say goodbye. We think about him everyday. Godspeed our little tiger."

"Blaze Alan was a true puppy at heart even in the end. I got him when he was just a puppy and starting my senior year of high school. It took me years on convincing to even be able to get a dog and Blaze stole my heart right away. His unconditional love, playfulness and protectiveness made him a true soulmate. He watched me grow up from teen to adult, watched me bring children into this world and watched them grow. He brought so much life, love and laughter. He will be forever missed and no dog could ever take his place. He meant the world to us. We love you so much Blaze!"

"She was a spoiled German Shorthaired Pointer. She was the only dog I have ever had that hated belly rubs and would talk back to you when you tried to discipline her. I always said she had ADHA because of all of the energy. She loved camping, hiking, boating and her favorite was swimming. We will miss her dearly."

"We rescued Sunny from an agency that just brought her to the US from Iran in Oct 2019. I remember seeing her get off the van, looking so scared & I felt instantly that we needed to save her. Which we did! She had a rough life before us, so we made sure to pamper her & make her the princess! She took the role seriously from the start. We don’t know how old she actually was but she had my heart from the beginning. She was the sweetest little girl & we miss her dearly!”

"On May 29, 2025, our beloved Endora peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge after a short battle with cancer. We adopted Endora and her brother Jerry from Petco thirteen years ago when we lived in Houston - they were the last two of their litter to be adopted! Endora was a sweet, cuddly girl who converted her favorite human into a cat person. She made the best biscuits, had a hilarious sense of humor, and was always ready for nap time. She was a laid back girl, Easy E, even when we brought dogs into the home. We hope you have unlimited spring toys and never have to be scared of the vacuum again. We’ll miss you, our Big Miss.”a

"It took me a month to be able to type this up.
Mia was the brightest moon to my night. She was sassy yet the best cuddler. She was like Houdini when it came to crate training. Still don't know how she got out most days. She is so smart, caring. Anytime I was sad or in pain she knew. She knew to come up to you and give you the best snuggles and kisses. On April 9th this year she would have turned 15. I cry still as I remember the happy times. I feel I was not much comfort to her, but I held her through the process and pet and loved on her as she does when she comforts me. We have a cat named blanche she loved to cuddle with. Yes a cat and dog cuddled like buddies. Both my oldies. My cat turns 18 this year and she knows the absence. My mom and nana told me recently they could have sworn that they heard her barking under the kitchen table. I feel she came to visit to let us know she is feeling no pain and is feeling happy and better than ever! That rainbow bridge she crossed was to the other side with the rest of the family up above and she's running free and happy. Down below will be the photo of both my golden girls sun bathing in the sun. Mia moon, I love and miss you. I know your in a better place. I keep your ashes in my office, so every time I'm on my computer your with me like the old days."

"Zuko was a happy boy from the moment we met, to the moment we said goodbye. He loved everyone he met and always greeted them with kisses. He especially enjoyed swimming, walks, and alligator toys. His famous characteristic was his ears, one up and one down. He is very missed and will always be loved."

"Our sweet Cheech died yesterday morning. I am grateful that he passed away here in our home naturally and that Rich was with him when he drew his last breath. I like to imagine he is off running and playing with our other dogs, a family reunion of sorts.
When we moved here we were not planning to get another dog; Lisa saw Cheech on a local web site and sent a picture to us. We were in Minnesota, getting ready to go back to Virginia and close on our house. Cheech looked like a combination of our last two dogs, Shiloh and Gumbo, how could we resist? He was at the local animal shelter being nurtured by one of the county’s women prisoners. She named him Cheech, and in appreciation of her nurturing we kept the name. The first two years of his life were a mystery but someone had housebroken him and taught him a few commands. The kids gave us a dog DNA test and we learned he was part border collie, part Alaskan shepherd and part chihuahua with bits of other unknowns thrown in. The border collie part was dominant in both his appearance and nature. Wherever I was when Rich called, Cheech would find me and herd me to him . Rich and Cheech were inseparable but I was the one who walked him, often down to the lake for a quick dip and home again. He made friends with all the animals that visited our yard, even the skunk that sprayed him. Most of all he loved our grandgirls, sleeping and playing with them when they visited. He lived 17 years, 15 with us, filling our lives with laughter and joy. We’ve been through this before and it never gets easier; we will miss him."

"After 15 wonderful years of companionship, love, and loyalty Princess has crossed the rainbow bridge.
The house definitely feels empty without her. She was around for so much of our lives. We got her shortly after moving to Winchester, and she has always been a special part of marking this milestone for our family. Even though we had 15 years with her, it still feels like her time with us was too short. She will always have a special place in our hearts."

"We lost our beloved cat Wally after loving him for almost 17 years. He’s been a part of our family since the summer of 2008 (the summer before my youngest son started preschool). Wally was named after the movie Wall-E. Wally watched my son grow up into his college years and watched our grandchildren grow the past seven years. Wally grew up with his adopted brother Garry. They were the best of friends. Depending on his mood, Wally could be sweet or sassy (I want a treat right MEOW!!!). We loved his purrsonality. He loved to curl up on a cozy blanket on your lap. Now my lap is half empty and my heart is broken. Life will never be the same without him. I’m going to forever miss our cuddles. I’ll love him and miss him through eternity. Rest in heavenly peace our beautiful boy."

"Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to our beloved Lucy, our magnificent Great Dane. For eight wonderful years, she filled our lives with a gentle, joyful presence that will forever be missed.
Lucy wasn't just a dog; she was a member of our family, a true gentle giant who brought immense love and warmth into our home. We brought her home when our son was just two years old, and she grew alongside him, a constant, loyal companion through his early years.
Lucy was a sight to behold, a truly magnificent creature. Her gentle spirit was undeniable, and she had a way of captivating everyone she met. Taking her for walks was always an adventure, as her friendly demeanor and impressive size drew smiles and admiration from everyone we encountered. She was a source of joy, a furry ambassador of love.
We will forever cherish the memories of her playful spirit, her comforting presence, and the unwavering love she gave us. The quiet moments, the joyful greetings, the comforting weight of her head resting on our laps – these are the treasures we will hold dear.
Though our hearts ache with her absence, we are grateful for the eight years of unconditional love and joy she shared with us. Lucy, you were a true gentle giant, and your memory will forever live on in our hearts. Rest peacefully, sweet girl."

"Lip Gloss spent 12 years living with hoarders, languishing from a flea infestation that left her with her signature “rodent ulcer” on her mouth. Despite carrying this scar from neglect—and being diagnosed with both kidney disease and hyperthyroidism—she faced each day with love, strength, and comical antics like sleeping on top of her potbellied pig brother. Her permanent grin reminded everyone never to let a day go by without smiling, even in the midst of tragedy. She reached thousands of "fans" online with her strength and resilience as she conquered all the odds. In 2025, Lip Gloss was tragically taken away by lung cancer after only three years with her adoptive mom, but her legacy will last a lifetime."

"We always wanted a dog. My husband went to the pound and was drawn to Mocha. She had such a rough start to her life. I believe my husband was drawn to her for a reason. We believed her to be about 3 or 4 when we brought her home. The kids fell in love with her right away. She was the best dog we could've asked for. She was always there for us and us for her. She will truly be missed but I know we will see her again. For now, she is occupying her time running around and chasing those soccer balls. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts."

Harper loved celebrating her birthday every year because she knew it was a day ALL about her! So this year we celebrated early with chocolate fudge brownies so she could tell all her puppy friends in heaven that she made it to double digits! And of course, she loved the brownies so much!"

"Gizmo was the love of our lives. She was lovable, yet reserved, shy but yet mischievous. She loved her family, and had the luxury of mom being home with her all day/everyday from being a kitten up until last Jan. He loved her catnip mouse and loved to cuddle as long as you had a blanket for her to lay on. Gizmo will be extremely missed. We love you sweet girl. <3"

"She was such an active dog who loved being outside. She watched mommy plant vegetables and she would dig and plant her treats. When you got next to her, she would thump her leg as to say bring on the lovin. She was fast and loved to be chased at the dog park. She also liked going into the small dog and puppy area and let them chase her and then roll over and let her little best friend playfully bite her all over. She loved traveling in the car and the RV. She was beautiful inside as she was on the outside. She left us too soon and in such a hurry. We will see her again I’m sure. Thank you God for such a great companion!"

"Fourteen years ago, Brady came into my life and changed it forever. From the moment we met, he was my loyal companion, my source of comfort, and my greatest joy. After a ten month battle with mast cell tumor, he passed peacefully at home, surrounded by love. My heart is broken, but I am endlessly grateful for the years we shared.
Brady was more than just a dog—he was family. He had the gentlest soul, the biggest heart, and an incredible way of knowing exactly when I needed him most. Whether it was his happy prance when it was time for a walk or food, his comforting presence on tough days, or the way he made even the smallest moments special, Brady was a gift in my life.
I’ll miss his sweet kisses, his warm cuddles, and the way he would rest his head on my lap as if to say, “I’m here, and I love you.” He was my best boy, and life won’t be the same without him.
Thank you, Brady, for 14 years of unconditional love. You were so loved, and you will be forever missed. Run free, my sweet boy."

"Max was our beautiful boy. He had a heart full of love which he gave unconditionally to everyone. The only thing he loved more than peanut butter flavored ice cream was cuddling in someone’s lap and scritches. We will miss him forever, but are deeply grateful that in his final hour when that loving heart was giving out, Millyvet was there to help us help. Thanks to Dr. Regina Liskey, Max crossed the Rainbow Bridge peacefully and without pain, surrounded by his people in the home he loved. There is no way to express how deeply grateful we are for this gift."

"Twitch came to me in the Spring of ‘18, through my open deck door as I sat on the couch, rain falling gently outside…She was about 4 at the time and had been somebody’s at one point. She devoured the food in the kitchen and promptly fell asleep on the couch, claiming the space and myself as her new home. I never questioned it, and I’ve been blessed by her love ever since.
She amplified my life in so many ways. She taught me so much and gave my life purpose and meaning. She knew when I needed a hug, and boy was she good at those! Wrapping her tail around my leg with a little chirp or walking up my back suddenly to head-butt me (a.k.a. hug).
I loved her independent and care-free personality, her little white paws and yellow- almond eyes, her affinity for playing tag in the warm summer grass.
January whispered her name, but I claimed her long before. How honored I was to be hers and she mine. We are connected forever; this beautiful spirit, my almond eyes, my friend and confidant. I know one day I’ll see her again, running up to me to give the biggest of hugs! I love you Twitch, with all of my heart! You’ve got your wings now baby girl! 3"
