Early on in her career, Dr. Liskey developed a strong appreciation for the love and bond that animals share with their families. She values the end-of-life experience, and it is important to her that every family and pet are offered peaceful and respectful last moments together.
MillyVet In-Home Pet Euthanasia Services became a dream of Dr. Liskey's after she experienced the profound loss of her beloved "heart dog", Milly. At almost 13 years of age, Milly battled organ dysfunction and suspected cancer, and her health was declining. With the support of her family, Dr. Liskey made the decision to euthanize Milly in an effort to provide Milly the peace and comfort she deserved. Fortunately, Milly crossed the Rainbow Bridge in a loving setting, at home with Dr. Liskey and her family. Since then, Dr. Liskey has felt a strong urge to provide this same at-home, peaceful experience for other pet families. Through the creation of "MillyVet", Dr. Liskey has been able to do just that.
